Article 6. Trade Names of
Corporations
(Compare
Articles 16 & 17 of the former Commercial Code)
1. The name of the corporation shall be its trade name.
2. The
corporation must contain the lettering ggomei kaishah (for a partnership
corporation, ggoshi kaishah (for a limited partnership corporation) , kabushiki
kaisha (joint stock corporation) or godo kaisha (LLC) according to the
corporationfs type in the corporationfs trade name.
3. In
its trade name the corporation must not use lettering causing misunderstanding
that it is another type of corporation.
